The fith year of the multimedia project The Action aimed on young road users has been started on 16th February 2009 in Trebic. During past four year there were 227 re-runs with 93 000 visitor from all Czech Republic. In 2009 thre will be 87 re-runs in 29 towns of the Czech Republic and expected attendance is 35 pupils of the 9th grade of elementary schools and secondary school students.
As the road accident statistics data show the project contributes to improvement in road accident situation among young and novice drivers. Police statistics shows that in general number of accidents has decrease by 18,4 % in 2008 comparing to 2004 (beginning of The Action), during the same period number of road traffic accidents caused by drivers up to 25 years old has decreased by 30,1 %.
